As a lifelong artist and software engineer, Priyathanya is always looking for the next opportunity to translate her everyday experiences into artistic expressions. Her flare for art started at Fargo, North Dakota, continued to grow in Vancouver, Canada and is gaining increasing acclaim globally.

 

She expanded her art career by exhibiting her art work through local art guilds, pop up shows and galleries. She works extensively with Oil and Watercolors. Her other works have been on creating art on glass, acrylics, ceramics and mixed media collages.

 

Currently she resides in Dubai and is a part of Tashkeel Art hub in Nad Al Sheba. She has collaborated in artistic events and workshops given by different artist , among whom are Nicoletta Baumeister, Dagmara Genda, Val Nelson, Raul Walsh. She teaches art online and works on commissioned artworks and book illustrations.

 

Her approach and output is constantly evolving as she hones her personal style. However, she refuse to be typecast and work hard to ensure she does not repeat herself. No matter what, Priya approaches each project with complete enthusiasm and total dedication.
